I Don’t Work Here, I Just Twerk Here

It’s happened quiet a few times now where I’m performing on stage for an act and then getting a break to grab a drink and wander the venue myself. I do love mingling with the audience and guests! But it always cracks me up when someone asks me a question meant for venue staff. “Where are the restrooms?”, “Can I have my drink out here?”, “Can you get me a…” and my new favorite response is: “I don’t work here, I just twerk here!” Which gives us both a laugh as I then point to someone they can ask while I continue to enjoy my cocktail and break.
